Heating system’s operating instruction

The best time for starting the system is warm season, for example in autumn before frosts. It will let smoothly and comfortably “enter” into heating season and prevent unnecessary consumption for heating of frozen building.

Automatic switches, which are responsible for emergency turn off of the system in case of short circuit, in the panel must be switched on before start of the system.

Necessary temperature shall be set in mural heating controller in each room.

Important! Thermal comfort shall be reached 2-3°C earlier at infrared heating comparing to traditional heating. Therefore, if everyday comfort temperature is +23°C, then set on +20°C in heating controller.

Remember that by increasing or reducing the temperature by 1 Celsius degree, the consumption of energy shall be increased or reduced by 5% respectively.

Don’t switch on the system during summer. The system will turn off when it will reach temperature set in the heating controller and the system will not turn on until the temperature will not be reduced by 1°C less than the set value.

Do not open windows and air vents. If it is too hot for you, just reduce the temperature in the heating controller. The system will maintain the temperature in the room with accuracy of 1°C.

System operating time and consumption of electricity directly depends on ambient temperature and quality of thermal insulation of the heated object.

Under compliance with the requirements of heating system exploitation and open placement of the heating system, average consumption of energy during heating season can be approximately ~15 Wh for one square metre of the heated area.
Under compliance with the requirements of heating system exploitation and open placement of the heating system, heating regime of the building (premise) is reached approximately within 4 weeks.

The heating system must satisfy the following requirements, if it is covered with decor:

  • Thickness of the decorative material that covers the heaters shall be from 1 to 14 mm;
  • Distance between decor and heating film shall be from 10 to 150 mm;
  • It must not be decorated with mirrors, glass and metal;
  • Air cushion between decor and heaters must not be ventilated.

Under compliance with the requirements of heating system exploitation and close placement of the heating system, average consumption of energy during heating season shall approximately increase by 5-10 % for one square metre of the heated area.

Under compliance with the requirements of heating system exploitation and close placement of the heating system, heating regime of the building (premise) may be reached later than within 4 weeks.

Rules for safe exploitation:

Connection of Infrared ray heating film must be performed by attested organisation or specialist.

Manufacturer is not responsible for malfunctions of the heating film that occurred because of buyer’s careless or wilful actions for which failure of the heater occurred.

The heating film is not intended for outdoor use.

The heating film must not be connected when packed into roll.

It is forbidden to connect the heating film at a voltage.

The heating film is complete equipment which cannot be short circuit or lengthened.

It is forbidden to damage integrity of the heating film and change its modification.

Do not try to repair the system independently in case of its failure, apply to attested manufacturer’s representative service.
